| Sat. June 7 | Breakfast Ride 9 am start from The Breakfast Bear restaurant in Rib Mountain. Work up an appetite riding, then enjoy a hearty breakfast afterwards. Food & beverage costs extra. Rain date June 8. |
| Tues. June 10 | Pie Night and Group Pictures One of our favorite events! Bring a pie to share after the ride. The club will provide bottled water, plates, napkins, and utensils. Go ahead and try a few kinds. Don’t worry, you’ll burn off those calories! Rain date Wednesday, June 11th |
| Sat. June 28 | Lake Norrie Gravel Ride and Cookout Join the Wheelers gravel riders for a fun day of riding in Eastern Marathon County. This will be a beginner-friendly, no-drop ride of approximately 30 miles. The club will provide pulled pork sandwiches after the ride. Bring a dish to pass and your favorite beverage. | Tues. July 15 | Wine & Cheese Night Bring some beer or wine for yourself, and some cheese, crackers, or sausage to share. Relax and chat it up with old and new bike friends after the ride. You must be 21 years or older to attend. Hosted by the Gathmans & Robinsons. Rain date Wednesday, July 16th. |
| Sat. July 19 | Sawmill Brewery Ride Join us for some scenic riding along the Wisconsin River between Merrill and Tomahawk. The rides will start and finish at the Sawmill Brewery. We’ll be serving Dave B’s delicious BBQ’d pulled pork afterwards. Please bring a dish to pass. Rain date Sunday, July 20* Tues. July 29 |
| Sat. August 9 | Tour d’ Brig’s Ride for Cycling Without Age Help the Wheelers raise money for the local chapter of Cycling Without Age. Group rides visit two, three, or all four local Briq’s locations in Wausau and Mosinee. Ice cream treats donated to our riders by Briq’s. The suggested donation is $20/ rider. Rain date Sunday, August 10th. |
| Thurs. August 14 | Pizza on the Farm Everybody loves Pizza! Join us for a Thursday night group ride starting and ending at the Zoromski homestead farm on Hwy. Q, just 1.2 miles south of the Hwy. 29 exit. Invite your family to meet you after the ride to enjoy some tasty brick oven pizza and explore the farm. Check with your ride leader for your group’s start time. All groups will plan to return to the farm between 7:30-7:45 pm. Food & beverage costs are on your own. Rain date- August 21 |
| Sat. August 23 | Big Bull Falls Grand Fondo There are three route lengths of 36, 71, or 100 miles with supported rest stops, food, and beverages to choose from. Open to everyone. The ride starts and ends at the Rib Mountain Municipal Center parking lot. Register by April 30th for $50 early-bird pricing. Come out and challenge yourself physically while helping us raise money for the Bridge St. Mission and NAMI Northwoods, fighting homelessness and mental illness in our community. |
| Thurs. September 11 | Boulder Junction Ride Our Thursday Gray Group takes an annual field trip to ride the paved trail system out of Boulder Junction. Check out the fall colors and mark your calendars! Rain date Thursday, Sept. 1 |
| Sat. October 4 | End of Season Party & Cookout Rides start at the Eau Claire Dells County Park. Start times vary by group, with a potluck, cookout, and party following the group rides at 2pm. The club will supply burgers, brats, buns, etc… Please bring a dish to pass and your own beverages. Rain Date 10/5. |
